Except the location, everything is terrible.

    1. The Building is too Old
    - There is a floor issue. When it is rainy, the floor is buckled and it could make your feet hurt. It takes long time to repair and you can't use your half of the living room. Even they repair it, the quality of finishing is really awful. They never use professionals to fix anything so all the fixes are only temporary and you'll have the same problem again in a few months.

    2. Facility Issues (Laundry, Elevator, Water, Parking...)
    - There are only five washing machines and five dryers to cover the entire tenants in this building, Most of them are terribly old and really doesn't work. Specifically there are just one or two dry machines that actually work well. You should spend twice time and money. Even we mentioned several times to exchange them, it is always ignored and no respond from landlord.

There are two elevators in this apartment building and sometimes the elevator doesn't work, or takes you to the wrong floor.

The water is cut off several times in a month. Usually they put the notice in the elevator, sometimes it happens without any notice.

Underground parking lot is really stinky of pee and dirty. The water is leaking and dropping from some pipes on the ceiling and it is saturated on the ground.

    3. Management Issues
    - The superintendent is really rude and sometimes she is mad and yelled at the tenant. Also, DON'T BE LATE to pay your rental fee even one day, otherwise you will get a notice letter right away to kick you off. On the other hand, it takes forever to fix or repair your unit when there is a problem.

    4. Noise Issue.
    - Most tenants in this apartment are young students(language school, college, or university...). Sometimes they have a party whole night then all of noise is banging around the floor as the building layout is small square shape. Even you can hear any noise from next door or upstairs. If you send a complain letter to the superintendent, the superintendent will tell to the noisy tenant that it was you who sent a complain letter.

    5. Overall, the location is amazing, and the price is low for downtown, but you get what you pay for. However, there are too many things to handle yourself and stress out. The superintendent and management are not professional, and do not care about a lot of issues in this apartment. I really don't recommend this apartment.

41 dundonald is owned by offshore owners. They have to be the cheapest people ive ever encountered. The building is a mess. Leaks in many of the units,Mold in many of the units. Ants in the building and occasional bedbug problems on the lower floors. Super in building eastern euopean and is useless. The family of the owners tried to repave the driveway to the underground parking by hand a shovel three times before getting pros to do the job. they also dont use proper tradespeople to do rapairs and just use handymen to work in apts. laundry machines constaantly breaking down. Landlords dont do reference checks and let absolute trash into the building. Partying noise a constant problem. This place is in such bad shape it will be torn down inside ten years for condos. Stay clear of this place. We are moving out in the late spring whemn our lease is up.
