Bedford Park (Toronto), or Lawrence Park North, which includes the Teddington Park and Wanless Park neighbourhoods, attracts many young professionals and their families to the area due to their quiet streets, good schools and parks, a community centre and library, and proximity to the 401 and Lawrence subway station. Many of the original homes still stand in this exclusive area, with a number having undergone extensive renovations. A portion of the original homes in the neighbourhood have been torn down and replaced with larger, more modern homes.
