myhood.ca was created to make the process of renting a place in Toronto easier and a better experience for the renter as currently, the process sucks! Here’s how myhood.ca is going to make your rental search easier:

Valuable information about the rental property through apartment reviews from current and past tenants;
Find rental properties where you want to live with the ability to search for listings and reviews by neighbourhood, intersection, university/college, TTC subway station and GO station;
Saves you time by combining rental listings from a number of sources including NOW magazine, property managers and real estate agents.

myhood.ca: Helping renters make more informative decisions
myhood.ca is the first service of its kind in Toronto to offer apartment reviews from current and past tenants. Reviews give the potential renter a greater understanding of the rental unit and provides information that they wouldn’t have otherwise had access to, therefore helping renters make more informed decisions about where they want to live.

About the Founder

Jeff Hersh founded myhood.ca after returning from a year of surfing in Australia in 2006. He loves the Toronto Raptors, Grape Crush, and Montreal bagels. Jeff dislikes coffee (he tried it twice), Jonathan from Who’s the Boss and slumlords. A little known fact about Jeff is that he once had an afro. People say he looks like Buster Blooth from Arrested Development. One thing is for sure, Jeff believes that myhood.ca is a much-needed website for the Toronto community. He thinks that you’ll agree…
