quick tips
A few of quick recommendations for those who know they want to live in Scarborough, Toronto, but don’t know where:
Students: If you're a U of T Scarborough student then you'll want to live in West Hill. If you go to the Progress Campus of Centennial College, then you'll want to live in Woburn. Otherwise, if you go to another school you may want to be close to a TTC subway or GO station, in which case we suggest living in Bendale due to it's close proximity to transit and the Scarborough Town Centre.
Young Professionals: If you're a young professional, you'll likely want to be living in close proximity to public transit. As such, both Oakridge and Bendale would be reasonable options. In addition to being close to the subway, Oakridge houses the vibrant Danforth Ave.
Families: Both Ionview and Eglinton East offer numerious rental options and some green space to boot. Scarborough Village also has some good rental options and is close to the Lake Ontario.
Emergency! I need a rental stat! So you need a hood with loads of rental options, close to public transit, grocery store, banks, liquor/beer store restaurants and shops. Check out Bendale.
