Willowdale (North York), with its epicentre on Yonge Street, is a growing, energetic and cosmopolitan urban centre filled with luxury condominiums, new homes, office towers, a newly renovated shopping mall and theatre complex, an ultra modern civic centre, a world-class aquatic centre and a highly acclaimed centre for the performing arts. The area, which has been called Uptown Toronto, also includes the smaller Lansing and Amour Heights neighbourhoods – both upper-middle class neighbourhoods that have great locations yet remain surprisingly peaceful. The well known Earl Bales Park is located in Armour Heights.
