The Bayview (North York) area can be split into two neighbourhoods. To the north is Bayview Woods – a middle class area with many single detached houses and a significant number of apartment buildings. The south portion would be considered Bayview Village, an upper middle class area which plays host to the upscale Bayview Village shopping centre, new condominium developments and is close to the new Sheppard line of the TTC subway system.
